The CP2110EK HID USB to UART bridge evaluation kit allows a complete evaluation and customization of the CP2110 HID USB to UART bridge, including all GPIO functions, flow control, RS-485 transceiver control and transmit and receive LEDs. A USB cable, a serial cable, Windows®, and Mac® application examples and full documentation are included.
The CP2110 software package provides documentation, programming examples and customization utilities for the CP2110/4 families. The CP2110/4 HID USB-to-UART interface library provides a simple API to configure and operate CP2110 devices. The library provides an interface abstraction so that users can develop their application without writing any USB HID code.
Note: The installation packages include the virtual COM port (VCP) driver that uses the standard COM API functions. A direct-access driver is also available here.
