Overview

Amazon is aiming to address a need in the IoT market to ensure devices can be reached anywhere: Sidewalk is a new Sub-GHz solution that not only enables extended range but also a distributed network similar to cellular. The ambition with Amazon Sidewalk has been to create a very wide area roaming connectivity network to which many low-bandwidth devices can connect.

This course provides the big picture of Amazon Sidewalk, covering the fundamentals of AWS IoT, and culminating with a walk through the whole process of developing an end node that connects to AWS via a Sidewalk Bridge device.
