A new challenge has arisen in IoT products. How do you handle the provisioning of security credentials and other device-specific information in high-volume manufacturing? In this session, we look at the requirements around providing Device Attestation Certificates (DACs) into Matter devices. We also evaluate the security, cost, and complexity in a high-volume manufacturing environment for several approaches. Finally, we will provide some design patterns and recommendations that help address Matter and any product that needs to securely provision device-specific data at scale.
