When Austin hosted the first-ever embedded world North America, it wasn’t just an opportunity for Silicon Labs to show off our wonderful city. We also got to share why our industry is on the brink of unprecedented transformation. Breakthroughs in AI, machine learning, and an increased awareness of the importance of security are reshaping embedded development. These advancements – and what they mean for the present and future of our industry – were among the topics covered by CEO Matt Johnson and CTO Daniel Cooley during their opening keynote.
We also showed off our upcoming Series 3 platform and demoed our latest innovations including Bluetooth Channel Sounding and our battery Wi-Fi camera reference design. Our MG26 SoC was also awarded Embedded Computing Design’s Best in Show for Wired and Wireless Connectivity. Check out the opening keynote and more highlights below.
