Beyond Metering: Silicon Labs and Digi - Unlocking New Potential with Wi-SUN
Thursday, April 3
10 AM CST
The release of Wi-SUN FAN 1.1 has opened up new possibilities for the previously metering-centric protocol, expanding beyond its metering roots with enhanced data rates, low power node capabilities, and optimizations across industries and use cases. Join us as we explore how Silicon Labs and Digi are partnering to simplify the development cycle for developers looking to leverage Wi-SUN's growing global footprint. In this session, we'll speak with Digi about extending their Digi XBee product line with a comprehensive and interoperable end-to-end Wi-SUN solution including modules, border routers, and Wi-SUN network management capabilities. Learn more about how this helps accelerate time-to-market, simplifies integration, and delivers enterprise-grade security with Wi-SUN's robust encryption, authentication, and key management features.

Expand Wi-Fi Development Support with Ezurio’s Veda SL917 Module
Tuesday, April 15th
10 AM CST
In this session, we invite our partner Ezurio (formerly Laird Connectivity) to discuss the recent launch of their Veda SL917 Module built with Silicon Labs’ SiWx917 IC. While the module offers pre-certified global approvals, the Veda SL917 also expands upon flexible development paths for ultra-low power designs seeking to implement Wi-Fi 6 + Bluetooth LE. We’ll show how developers can use Simplicity Studio to compile WiSeConnect SDK in SoC Mode on the Veda SL917 Explorer board and demo the SDK running in NCP mode using Veda SL917 MikroE Click Board on a host controller. This session will also unveil embedded Python support for the Veda SL917 within Ezurio’ Cavas Software Suite.
