EFR32SG28 Dual-Band Wireless SoC for Amazon Sidewalk

The EFR32SG28 is a secure, low power dual-band SoC for Amazon Sidewalk devices that supports Bluetooth Low Energy and sub-GHz FSK, providing reliable connectivity in the home using Bluetooth LE and beyond the front door using sub-GHz FSK to cover detached buildings, pools, and spas. The multi-core device has efficient ARM Cortex®-M33 running up to 78 MHz and with 1024 kB of Flash and 256 kB of RAM. The low active and sleep currents make it ideal for battery operated end devices like sensors including door, window, and temperature sensors devices, while the link budget of 128.6 dBm provides long range and reliable communication. The dedicated security core supports our Secure Vault™ High, bringing industry leading IoT security to the device to protect wireless data and the device from both remote and local attacks.
