overview

What is Wi-SUN?

Wi-SUN is an open standard based on IPv6 and IEEE 802.15.4g/e specifications. The Wi-SUN Alliance is responsible for the development of the standard and is a global ecosystem of member companies seeking to accelerate the implementation of Field Area Networks (FAN) and Internet of Things (IoT).

Top Benefits of Wi-SUN FAN (Field Area Network)

Wi-SUN® FAN specifications bring Smart Ubiquitous Networks to service providers, utilities, municipalities/local government and other enterprises, by enabling interoperable, multi-service and secure wireless mesh networks.

Requirement Product Feature Benefit
